McGinley will serve as the primary media contact for Richmond’s W League Team and secondary media contact for the Richmond Kickers pro team
RICHMOND, Va. – W League RVA and the Richmond Kickers are pleased to share the hire of Mannion McGinley as the teams’ new Manager of Communications and Digital Media.
McGinley will serve as the primary media contact for Richmond’s USL W League team that kicks off in Spring 2024. She will also serve as the secondary media contact for the Richmond Kickers’ professional team that plays in USL League One.
Additionally, she will create online and social media content for the teams’ various platforms.
A recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame with majors in American Studies and Sociology and a minor in Journalism, McGinley served as Managing Editor and Sports Editor for The NDSMC Observer – Notre Dame’s independent student newspaper – over the last two years.
She also served as the SheBelieves communications intern with the U.S. Soccer Federation.
