As the 2026 USL W League season approaches, the Richmond Ivy unveiled their Forged by Fire and Brick by Brick kits — a pair of designs inspired by the timeless and enduring architecture of the River City.
The Forged by Fire Kits will serve as the club’s field jerseys for the 2026 season, featuring Ivy green and burgundy color pathways. At the center of the design is the intricate ivy wrought iron pattern which is integrated throughout the entirety of the kit. A prevailing and iconic architectural element found throughout Richmond, wrought iron stands as a symbol of the strength and elegance of the athletes who represent the Ivy on the pitch.

Calling back to the core values of the Ivy, the club’s mantra “Made of Many” is embellished on the internal neck of the collar and stands as a reminder that when you support the Ivy you are a part of something bigger than yourself. A new addition to the Ivy color palette, the secondary look features a rich burgundy with white accents on the crest, collar and sleeve.
The Brick by Brick Kits will serve as the club’s goalkeeper jerseys for the upcoming season, coming in two of the club’s core colors: mint green and brick orange. Each kit features a monochromatic style which creates a subtle but poignant brick pattern across the kit. Drawing inspiration from the city’s iconic brick structures, the pattern underscores the dependability and fortitude required of goalkeepers each time they step in net. “Brick by brick” also appears on the inside neck of the collar, reinforcing the club’s identity and the idea that Ivy is rooted in the city’s strong brick architecture while always striving to climb higher each day.

The Ivy are proud to have CarMax return as the front-of-jersey sponsor for a third straight season. As a people-first organization, CarMax is committed to making a positive impact and helping communities thrive, starting with their hometown.
The launch campaign was photographed at Niche Pilates Studio, a local women-run business located only two miles from City Stadium. The photography was captured by long-time club partner Jessica Stone Hendricks.
Richmond will debut both the Forged by Fire and Brick by Brick kits on May 9, 2026, at City Stadium as they host the Kick It Forward Cup, a charity match vs. Lancaster Inferno. Single match tickets are available now – Don’t miss your chance to get in on action!
Be the first to get the Forged by Fire and Brick by Brick kits, shop in store or online at shoprichmondsoccer.com starting Wednesday, April 29 at 11 a.m.
