
RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Ivy traveled to Manassas in the debut of the new “Forged By Fire” kits. Despite a strong response in the first half, the Ivy fell 5-1 to Virginia Development Academy in a tough road test.
VDA struck early and applied pressure throughout the match, capitalizing on key chances to build momentum. The Ivy answered in the first half through Jazmin Jackson after a strong attacking sequence from Ella Stanley and Olivia Woodson leveled the match temporarily. After halftime, VDA regained control with three second-half goals, while Richmond continued to rotate the squad and battle through the final whistle.
