
RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Ivy SC finished their regular season series with Annapolis Blues FC on Wednesday evening, the road matchup finishing in a 2-2 draw at Navy Marine Stadium. The Richmond Ivy converted on chances in the 31st and 71st minutes during the midweek matchup, but two late goals from Annapolis gave way to the draw.
Richmond struck early and struck first when Jill Flammia found the back of the net, receiving a pass from Emerson Moore and placing the ball in the back right corner of the net in the 31st minute. After a break in the action, Olivia Woodson would double the Ivy’s advantage in the 71st minute, as the Richmond native used her speed and finesse to create an opportunity for a 2-0 lead.
Annapolis Blues were led by team captain Zoe Vidaurre, whose 85th-minute volley knotted the score at two apiece.
