RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Ivy will host the Kick It Forward Cup, a charity match vs. Lancaster Inferno on May 9, 2026 at City Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m., with gates opening at 4:00 p.m. Streaming will be available on the club’s YouTube Channel.
The Kick It Forward Cup will be a community-focused event aimed at raising awareness and support for two impactful nonprofit organizations selected by each team. Proceeds from the match will benefit RVAccess and the Now I Can Foundation, with $1.00 from every ticket sold donated between the two charities.
The Ivy will be supporting RVAccess, a Richmond-based organization dedicated to improving accessibility and mobility for children with disabilities throughout the region. Lancaster will be donating to Now I Can Northeast Intensive Pediatric Physical Therapy, which provides intensive physical therapy to children with neurological and developmental disabilities, helping them build strength, improve mobility, and gain greater independence so they can reach their fullest potential.
“We are excited for the Kick It Forward Cup and grateful to both the Richmond Ivy and Lancaster Inferno for their support through this event,” said RVAccess Director and Ivy Assistant Coach Carter Yeisley. “Through the generous support of donors, RVAccess is able to provide an inclusive soccer program for kids with disabilities, offering a fun, challenging, and exciting way for athletes of all abilities to play the game they love completely cost-free to the families. We are looking forward to supporting the women in the Kick It Forward Cup! We will be cheering extra hard for our own Richmond Ivy! Go Ivy!
