RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Ivy SC will host a friendly against Racing Power FC USA on June 17, 2026 at City Stadium, the club announced Tuesday. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. Streaming will be available on the club’s Youtube Channel.
Racing Power FC, a professional women’s club based in Portugal, competes in Liga BPI (the Portuguese first division) and has recently expanded its presence into the United States as part of its commitment to elite player development and international collaboration. The Ivy will host Racing Power FC’s U.S.-based squad in a unique opportunity to face high-level competition and continue both clubs’ mission of developing elite talent on the pitch. Based in Baltimore, Maryland, Racing Power USA most recently competed in the United Women’s Soccer league, claiming the 2025 UWS-1 divisional championship.
This friendly provides a valuable opportunity for both clubs to engage in high-level competition, exposing players to differing styles of play while fostering international connections within the women’s game.
